Role Overview The Quality Assurance Associate Engineer supports Power Generation Services by applying quality assurance and quality control principles to ensure products and services meet customer and corporate requirements.
This role assists in maintaining, supporting, and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities Support Root Cause Analysis activities using 8D methodology, including documentation, containment actions, and tracking.
Assist with corrective and preventive action initiatives and their implementation.
Support the collection, analysis, and tracking of non-conformance data and maintain the NCR database.
Identify and interpret quality data trends using Statistical Process Control techniques.
Assist in developing and maintaining quality metrics and KPIs to drive improvement initiatives.
Support the development and delivery of quality-related training programs.
Review customer and supplier inspection and test plans.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of quality procedures and specifications supporting the Quality Management System.
Participate in safety initiatives, team objectives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Perform other duties as required to support departmental and company goals. Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Quality Management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis capabilities.
Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, word processing tools, electronic mail, and statistical or data analysis software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
