We are looking for a process-oriented leader who can evaluate how different departments operate, identify breakdowns and root causes, establish measurable standards, implement corrective actions, and create systems that continuously improve organizational performance. This position reports directly to Executive Leadership and will be responsible for establishing the Quality Division from the ground up . The Director will work across multiple business functions, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Billing, Human Resources, Customer Service, and Administration. Key Responsibilities Design and implement an organization-wide Quality Management and Process Improvement System. Establish quality standards, audit processes, evaluation systems, corrective actions, and internal certification processes. Evaluate operational, commercial, financial, administrative, and customer-service processes. Map workflows and identify gaps, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, recurring errors, and process risks. Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop and improve SOPs, procedures, operational checklists, work instructions, and control systems. Design and monitor KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and quality metrics for different departments. Measure the financial and operational impact of errors, rework, delays, process failures, and poor quality. Develop audit programs and conduct internal process reviews. Work directly with department leaders to establish quality expectations and improvement plans. Monitor corrective actions and verify their effectiveness. Develop training, evaluation, correction, and internal certification programs. Coordinate specialized evaluators or subject-matter experts when technical knowledge is required. Present findings, trends, risks, and improvement recommendations to Executive Leadership. Lead organizational change while maintaining collaboration and accountability between departments. Build the structure, operating procedures, reporting system, and standards of the Quality Division. Required Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in Quality Management, Process Improvement, Operational Excellence, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality Systems, or a related field. Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, or significantly improving a Quality Management or Process Improvement System. Experience working across multiple departments or business functions.
Hands-on experience with:
Root Cause Analysis CAPA / Corrective Actions SOP development Process Mapping Internal Audits KPIs and Dashboards Risk Assessment Continuous Improvement Knowledge of methodologies such as ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, CAPA, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis , or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to connect quality issues with operational and financial impact. Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills. Experience implementing change and improving processes without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. Professional proficiency in English and Spanish . Legally authorized to work in the United States. Currently located in South Florida and available to work full-time, on-site in Miami . Education A Bachelor's degree is required. Strong preference will be given to candidates with a degree in: Industrial Engineering Process Engineering Mechanical Engineering Systems Engineering Operations Engineering Quality Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Business/Operations Management with substantial Quality Systems experience Advanced education in Quality Management, Operations, Engineering, or Process Improvement is a plus. Preferred Background Experience in organizations with complex service or field operations is highly desirable, including: Construction Restoration Facilities Management Property Management Home Services HVAC Roofing Plumbing Logistics Manufacturing Healthcare Services Multi-site service organizations Candidates do not need to be technical experts in restoration. The Director will be responsible for designing the quality system and coordinating specialized subject-matter experts when technical evaluations are required. What Success Looks Like This is a build-from-scratch leadership opportunity . During the first month, the successful candidate will be expected to begin establishing the Quality Division by: Assessing the current organization Understanding the products and processes of each department Identifying critical processes and quality risks Establishing initial quality standards Defining priority KPIs and evaluation criteria Developing the initial audit and corrective-action structure Creating a roadmap for the implementation of the company-wide Quality System The objective is not simply to identify mistakes. The objective is to create systems that prevent recurring problems, improve performance, reduce the cost of poor quality, increase efficiency, and strengthen organizational results. Compensation $65,000-$85,000 annual base salary Plus quarterly performance bonus tied to measurable improvements in organizational efficiency and reduction of the cost of poor quality.
