full-time The Reliability Manager is responsible for developing and leading strategies that improve equipment reliability, plant availability, maintenance performance, and overall operational efficiency. This role oversees reliability and maintenance programs, identifies recurring equipment failures, and implements preventive and predictive maintenance practices to reduce downtime and maintenance costs. Key Responsibilities Lead the site's reliability and maintenance strategy to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency. Develop and optimize preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs. Analyze equipment failures, downtime, and maintenance data to identify root causes and recurring issues. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) , Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and other reliability improvement initiatives. Establish and monitor key performance indicators such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, maintenance costs, and planned maintenance percentage . Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Safety teams to improve asset performance. Develop asset criticality assessments and prioritize reliability improvement projects based on business impact and risk. Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, spare parts strategies, and equipment lifecycle management. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing unplanned downtime and maintenance expenses. Evaluate and implement reliability technologies, including condition monitoring, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, lubrication analysis, and predictive analytics . Manage reliability projects, budgets, contractors, and external service providers. Coach and develop maintenance and reliability personnel to build a strong reliability culture. Ensure maintenance and reliability activities comply with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements . Typical Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field . 5+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, engineering, or manufacturing . Experience with RCM, RCA, FMEA, preventive/predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement . Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance performance metrics. Experience leading cross-functional teams and reliability improvement projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in a manufacturing, packaging, paper, or industrial environment is highly desirable.
