JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Engineering (QE) intern is responsible for the generation of a strategic and daily plan to improve the quality of operational processes and production output. Major responsibilities include maintaining TRU Simulation Training's Quality Management System (QMS), quality metrics, and quality audits. This role is also tasked with identifying improved ways of issue reporting relating to the production process and assigning potential solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Help maintain TRU QMS including QMS SharePoint site, calibration, internal quality audits, and ISO audit finding/responses

+ Asist in performing receiving inspection and non-conformity reporting (NCR)

+ Assist in testing, validation, and programming of core TRU parts (control system parts, CanBus, PCB etc.)

+ Improve product quality by making recommendations for change

+ Work with relevant teams and departments to improve products

+ Help ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards

+ Brainstorm ideas to create solutions for identified problems both internally with team and with other functions

+ Develop meaningful quality metrics in addition to FPY

+ Help in implementation of a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process
