Job Description

•This is a contract position•
POSITION SUMMARY
Analyzes business processes, functions, and procedures, plus applicable rules and regulations from Customers and Airworthiness Authorities, to determine and control the most effective Quality Management System, in order to meet the needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will have paint process experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
Guarantees the fulfillment of quality and aeronautical standards (CTA / ISO / SAE) with improvements incorporated to the existing documentation. Coordinates the analysis and revises maps and processes according to necessity, and proposes improvements to maintain the certifications. Generates reports with key performance indicators (KPI's) analysis, and coordinates the changes. Analyzes the KPIs promoting discussions to business process improvements. Coordinates the "Corrective Action Team" and evaluates non-conformities, debating with the involved areas, looking for alternatives, solutions, and or decisions about preventive and corrective actions. Administrates the company's "Normative System" (ENS). Analyzes normative documents, identifies processes and interdepartmental workflow, negotiating necessary actions with managers. Prepares, revises, and standardizes all local company procedures and policies inside the system (ENS), interfacing with correlated areas. Follows up on planning activities. Defines strategy and trains area "Focal Points" by providing basic procedure material (text, workflow). Administers the technical services and activities related to parts repair with repair stations network. Follows up and controls the repair services and the quality of activities and/or support received. Communicates with members in the department on technical issues. Develops and keeps updated database of Repair Stations. Ensures compliance with
FAA / ANAC
/ Embraer standards. Keeps updated and informed on FAA compliance issues. Coordinates and works on specific projects regarding lean and Kaizen programs (P3E) which relates to operational improvements.

Masters in Business Administration, Quality and Productivity, or related field
Experience:
Senior Level Individual Contributor on a functional group. Generally 5-7 years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. Strong experience in corporate quality management system activities, as well as with organization & methods systems analysis, organizational development, and process workflow analysis.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Comprehension, understanding and execution of broad practices associated within the field assigned and related fields. Applies these understandings in the completion of complex work assignments. Organized and detailed oriented. Knowledge of Six Sigma skills, Lean, Kaizen, process management, change management and advanced statistical techniques. Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills. Applicable regulatory requirements (ANAC / FAA courses - desirable) Ability to demonstrate people management skills (HR guidelines, tools & policies), value based management fundamentals (Shareholder Satisfaction x Customer Satisfaction x Employee Satisfaction), employment law (sexual harassment, disability, discrimination, labor laws, etc.). Business vision & competitiveness skills (Managing innovation, the customer service, growth, and creativity). Proficient in Internet Explorer, Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access), Lotus Notes, SAP, ENS, and company policies and procedures Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
