Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a proactive Reliability Specialist to champion the upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and maintenance protocols. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement through strategic design implementations and modifications. You will directly contribute to departmental success by supporting the Maintenance Manager and enhancing operational efficiency. Responsibilities Spearhead Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) initiatives to preemptively address potential issues. Conduct Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risks associated with equipment and processes. Construct and maintain precise Bill of Materials (BOMs) for all critical equipment. Oversee the rotating equipment reliability program, focusing on centrifugal pumps, vibration analysis, mechanical seals, bearings, and lubrication strategies to minimize downtime. Champion improvements to the site lubrication plan, ensuring optimal equipment performance. Collaborate within project teams, advocating for reliability-focused designs to enhance long-term operational stability. Provide essential technical support, leading projects that improve infrastructure and equipment reliability. Coordinate and execute maintenance activities during scheduled shutdowns, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Reliability Engineer, or 5+ years in a related technical manufacturing support role. Proficiency in predictive maintenance techniques, including oil analysis, ultrasonic/sonic testing, vibration analysis, and thermography. Preferred Skills Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with effective leadership and communication skills. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Expertise in equipment and boiler troubleshooting, PFMEA, mechanical design, and root cause analysis.
