$80,000•$100,000 per year, based on experience Qualified Staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with a reputable manufacturing company in Marietta, GA . This position is responsible for ensuring product quality, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining compliance with quality standards, and serving as a key resource for quality-related processes throughout the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow documented quality management system procedures and company policies. Gather, analyze, and report statistical data to support quality objectives and process improvements. Prepare PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) and other customer-required submissions, including drawings and supporting documentation. Investigate, document, and respond to customer complaints and corrective action requests. Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and outsourced production components. Conduct final inspections of production parts when required. Identify, segregate, label, and document non-conforming materials and products. Test products for dimensional, visual, mechanical, and performance characteristics and accurately record inspection results. Perform destructive and non-destructive testing of materials and products as required. Manage gage calibration programs, maintain calibration records, and ensure operators have access to properly calibrated measuring equipment. Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve product quality. Support training and cross-training initiatives for new and existing employees. Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications 2-5 years of Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Production Quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with PPAP preparation, customer quality submissions, and corrective actions. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and sit for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Reporting Structure Reports directly to the General Manager.
