ASAP The Opportunity I'm currently working with a major Data Center project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and looking for experienced Commissioning Engineers to join the team. There are multiple openings across both Mechanical and Electrical commissioning, so this is a good opportunity for engineers with a strong Data Center or Mission Critical background who are looking for their next project. You'll be working closely with the wider commissioning, construction and engineering teams to ensure systems are installed, tested and performing in line with project requirements. Key Responsibilities Support commissioning activities across Data Center MEP systems Review equipment, systems and installation against approved drawings and specifications Develop and review commissioning documentation, test procedures and check sheets Carry out equipment and system testing through the commissioning process Support functional performance testing and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) Identify, document and track commissioning issues through to resolution Attend inspections, walkdowns and testing activities with contractors and project teams Review MOPs, SOPs and EOPs where required Work closely with electrical, mechanical, controls and construction teams Ensure commissioning activities are completed safely and in line with project schedules Provide regular updates on progress, outstanding issues and commissioning status Support final system turnover and project closeout Experience Required Proven Commissioning Engineer / CxE experience Strong Data Center or Mission Critical experience Mechanical or Electrical commissioning background Experience working through L1, L2, L3 and/or IST commissioning Good understanding of MEP systems within a Data Center environment Experience working with contractors, vendors and project teams Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications Strong understanding of commissioning processes and documentation Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work on a fast-paced Data Center project Why Consider the Role?
