Job Description

Summary:

Ace Computers, a leading provider of information technology solutions and one of the top 100 Custom System Builders in the US, is seeking to add a member to our team. This role will report to the Director of Quality. ACE Computers is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality & Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing, system integration, product development, and operational processes. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems that ensure products and services meet customer requirements, industry standards, and company objectives while improving efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational performance. The Quality & Process Engineer will collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Development, Compliance, and Customer Support teams to identify opportunities for improvement, establish best practices, and ensure consistent execution of quality and operational processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Quality Management Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures. Monitor product quality throughout manufacturing, integration, testing, and deployment processes. Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Establish quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track organizational performance. Lead internal audits and support customer, regulatory, and certification audits. Process Improvement Analyze existing operational workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies. Create and maintain process maps, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation. Facilitate cross-functional improvement projects to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase productivity. Monitor process performance and recommend enhancements based on data analysis. Ensure manufacturing and operational processes align with established standards and regulatory requirements. Data Analysis & Reporting Collect and analyze quality and operational performance data. Develop dashboards and reports to communicate trends, findings, and recommendations. Utilize statistical methods to identify process variation and opportunities for improvement. Present findings and improvement initiatives to management and stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Engineering and Product Development teams to improve product quality and manufacturability. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Vendor Management teams to address supplier quality issues. Support training initiatives related to quality systems, process improvements, and operational excellence. Participate in design reviews and new product introduction activities.

Requirements:

Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering Experience 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or continuous improvement roles. Experience with root cause analysis methodologies and corrective action programs. Experience in manufacturing, electronics integration, or related industries preferred. Strong understanding of quality management systems. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Experience with statistical analysis and quality tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. Experience creating process flow diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation. Familiarity with ERP and manufacturing systems preferred.

Preferred Requirements:

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification. Experience supporting ISO certification programs. Experience with government contracting environments. Knowledge of computer hardware manufacturing, system integration, or electronics production processes. Experience supporting ENERGY STAR and EPEAT compliance initiatives.
