Quality Engineer responsible for supporting internal and supplier quality, process improvement, corrective actions, and manufacturing quality activities for fabricated and assembled products. Job Requirements Associate or bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience as a Quality Engineer. Experience with quality engineering in steel fabrication environments. Experience with cutting, bending, welding, painting, and assembly processes. Experience supporting internal manufacturing quality. Experience resolving supplier quality issues. Experience creating PPAP documentation. Knowledge of GD&T. Experience updating CAD models. Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Knowledge of ISO-based quality systems. Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Preferred Skills Experience with CMM inspection equipment. Experience supporting new product introduction and pilot runs. Experience with manufacturability studies. Experience developing tooling, fixture, or process improvement recommendations. Experience supporting quality inspections and production troubleshooting. Experience with supplier corrective actions and incoming quality issues. Job Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing and quality processes for fabricated and assembled components. Identify improvements related to quality, process flow, equipment, layout, tooling, fixtures, and procured materials. Perform root cause analysis for manufacturing and quality issues. Develop and implement corrective actions. Support production capacity and quality improvement initiatives. Support manufacturing process changes within established cost and safety requirements. Provide technical guidance on product and process quality requirements. Support design engineering with manufacturability studies. Assist with pilot runs, quotes, and cost estimates. Support existing and new product quality activities. Maintain and apply core quality processes and ISO requirements. Support internal quality inspectors and production personnel with daily inspections. Review and resolve manufacturing quality concerns. Support supplier quality investigations and corrective actions. Prepare and maintain PPAP and related quality documentation. Review drawings, GD&T requirements, and CAD models in support of quality activities.

Pay:
