at Rivian in Normal, Illinois, United States Job Description Managers, General Assembly with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Normal, IL. Develop inspection methods to analyze product and process quality. Improve product/process quality by defining/implementing recommendations for change. Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products/process. Ensure products/process adhere to company and industry quality standards. Brainstorm and drive ideas to create solutions for identified problems. Monitor and steer systematic problems through operations system (Rivian Concern System). Formulate a strategic plan to increase productivity in the business. Document results and findings after inspections are carried out. Implement a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process. Supervise engineers and/or technicians.

RQMTS:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and 5 years of experience in any occupation involving quality manufacturing engineering.

Experience must include:

Working on Manufacturing/assembly process; Working on Supplier Quality Systems Audits, Control Plans, PPM's monthly tracking, and PPAP; DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, and 8D; Acquiring and analyzing data using standard quantitative methods; Working on Metrology equipment, Statistical process control/control charts; 6 Sigma; and Leading root cause analysis and ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

Salary Range:

$109,000-$136,000/yr.
