Job Description

Job Summary Who We Are North American Lighting Inc., member of the Koito Group of Companies, is the largest tier one automotive exterior lighting manufacturer in North America. As the market share leader in exterior automotive lighting, NAL provides advanced lighting technology, engineering design expertise, and state-of-the-art production capabilities to auto makers based in North America and around the world. Our Opportunity North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Quality Engineering Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate all of the activities and personnel of the Quality Engineering department, which includes the review and evaluation of the progress of the launch programs and production customer concerns as performed within the department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Your Priorities Assigns work, supervises, and evaluates work of other Quality Engineers within the department. Performs ongoing reviews of product performance and process data, and makes recommendations concerning product performance. Provides expertise to other engineers for them to use in problem solving for solutions related to assigned projects, and assists the other engineers in this function, Works closely with customers to resolve quality issues and returns, leads activities related to the formal response to management and the customer. Performs engineering research and development and recommends technologies related to assigned projects. Review the content and accuracy of Quality Engineering
APQP / PPAP
documentation including, inspection standards, control plans, testing reports, sample data sheets, regulation reports, etc. The salary range for this position is $82,200 - $114,100 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled. Requirements Your Background Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus 6 to 8 years of experience in a Quality Engineering related position, to include at least two years in a senior or lead role. Knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) is preferred.
