We are working with a well-established precision manufacturing company near South Beloit, IL that is continuing to grow and invest in their quality team. This is a great opportunity to step into a role focused on quality documentation, systems, and process improvement while partnering closely with operations. What You'll Be Doing Develop, update, and maintain quality documentation including work instructions, procedures, and inspection standards Support first article inspections (FAI) and ensure accurate and complete documentation Maintain and support quality systems including AS9100, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and SPC Partner with production to address and resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure proper documentation and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements Support internal and external audits Train team members on quality processes and documentation standards What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role within manufacturing Strong experience with quality documentation and systems (AS9100 preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints with solid GD&T knowledge Experience supporting audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation in a fast-paced environment Hands-on mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with production Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold an active U.S. Green Card.
