Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here A precision aerospace machining company is adding a Quality Engineer to lead its quality documentation, compliance, and customer quality reporting at a growing site. This role is primarily desk and systems based, anchored in QMS administration, controlled documentation, and corrective action, with regular collaboration alongside inspectors, machinists, and the Quality Manager to keep product and process qualification on track. It suits a detail driven engineer who excels at the documentation and PC based side of quality and can also support the floor when issues require it. Quality Engineer Responsibilities Administer and maintain the QMS, including procedures, controlled documents, work instructions, and revision control Lead AS9100 and
ISO 9001
compliance, audit preparation, corrective actions, and documentation upkeep Build and manage customer quality packages: FAIRs, PPAPs, PSWs, SCAR responses, and source inspection records Translate engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specs into inspection plans and conformance documentation Track quality metrics, trends, and CAPA closure in PC based systems Support production and inspection teams on the floor to resolve machining and process variation issues Drive continuous improvement initiatives with the Quality Manager Quality Engineer Requirements 3 to 7 years in Quality Engineering within machining, aerospace, or another regulated industry Demonstrated strength in QMS, controlled documentation, audits, and corrective action management AS9100 or
ISO 9001
experience required; NADCAP a plus Working command of FAIRs, PPAPs, PSWs, SCARs, and customer quality reporting Comfort living in PC based quality and documentation systems day to day GD&T fluency and drawing interpretation, with willingness to step onto the floor as needed Engineering, industrial engineering, or related technical degree preferred Stable tenure and strong cross functional communication Compensation and Growth Strong base salary with competitive benefits Opportunity to develop under an experienced Quality Manager at a site with growth and expansion plans Broad exposure to machining, inspection, and customer facing quality activities Ability to build wide technical depth in a fast paced, multi hat environment Relocation may be considered for a strong fit
