This role partners with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, strengthen problem-solving capabilities, and promote a culture of operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts for manufacturing and supplier quality issues. Drive root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, PDCA, DMAIC, 5 Why, and Fishbone. Ensure effective containment, corrective actions, and long-term solutions. Develop and deliver quality and continuous improvement training programs. Coach teams on Lean, Six Sigma, and quality best practices. Support Green Belt and Black Belt projects. Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supplier teams to improve processes. Track quality metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives. Support new product launches by implementing quality standards and structured problem solving. Promote continuous improvement and compliance with IATF 16949 and automotive quality standards. Qualifications Master Black Belt certification required. Demonstrated expertise in structured problem solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving initiatives without direct management authority. Proven ability to train, coach, and facilitate teams in quality and continuous improvement principles. Working knowledge of automotive quality systems and core tools, including IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
