Quality Engineer

  • $100k We're looking for a Quality Engineer to support the manufacturing and engineering operations by maintaining high quality standards, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with customer and ISO9001 requirements.
You'll help plan, develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, while carrying out product and process audits, investigating issues, and driving corrective and preventive action. Key responsibilities Perform product and process audits, inspections, and quality checks. Review quality requirements, inspection sheets, engineering documents, and sampling sheets. Use precision measuring tools, visual inspection, and technical specifications to identify defects. Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and support problem-solving activities. Assist with customer complaints, internal audits, and
ISO 9001
surveillance/re-certification audits. Support continuous improvement activities and quality-related special projects. What we're looking for 3-5 years' experience in a quality role within manufacturing. Knowledge of plastics, engineering polymers, SPC is useful Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, and experience with CRM/ERP systems. ISO9001knowledge and internal auditor certification. Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills Nice to have Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. LEAN experience.
