Validation and Testing Manager Join Orange EV, a fast-growing manufacturer of electric vehicles that are better for the earth, people, and the bottom line. Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Validation Manager to join our dynamic team in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry. As a Validation Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of validation engineers to ensure the successful validation and testing of our EV products. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in automotive or electrical engineering, along with experience in managing direct reports. Position ResponsibilitiesValidate the overall product against the defined program and regulatory requirements. Plan and execute all validation activities, including personnel, testing sites, logistics, and charging. Coordinate vehicle shipping, logistics, support spares, off-site work, test support, and vehicle scheduleCreate documentation for testing plans with pass/fail criteria and test reports that includes all the findings and data and correlate them to vehicle requirements. Identify and source test equipment and instrumentation for vehicle-level validation.

Document and track all issues discovered by validation testing activities and lead issue resolution efforts.

Work with engineering teams to resolve issues found during validation testing.

Manage and track all vehicle testing schedules and highlight and prioritize critical path tests. Position QualificationsBachelor (MSc or PhD preferred) in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or other related engineering fieldsMinimum of 5 years of experience in validation or testing roles within the automotive, electric vehicle industry, or aerospace industries. Strong knowledge of EV systems and components as they relate to high voltage and Battery Management Systems.

Knowledgeable and experienced in standard validation and testing procedures and all related documentation requirements. Ideal Candidates Will Also HaveFamiliarity with industry standards such as ISO 26262 and automotive regulations is highly desirable.
