We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

The selection process will be during April 2026 until July 2026.

What does this internship consists in?

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (Discover) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future. You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to Discover the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background. The start of the internship will be in early October 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Join the Quality Engineering Airframe community. Our Rear Fuselage & Empennage (RFE) team is a high-performing, transnational unit based in Getafe, Hamburg, and Lisbon. We work hand-in-hand with our Engineering colleagues to ensure the highest standards of Quality Management, driving change and improvements and the digital transformation of tomorrow.

We assure the development of strategies, concepts, standards and tools for Engineering and Continuous Performance Improvement. As well as continued compliance with European requirements, regulations and approvals , always focusing on the Voice of the Customer to solve critical issues and improve performance.

We are looking for an intenrship in Getafe to collaborate with us.

Main activities:

You will be fully integrated into our quality processes , participating in the Airbus Quality Standards inside Design community .

Learn to work with the main quality tools such as Design Reviews (DR), Design Risk Analysis (DFMEA), Quality planning (APQP), Problem solving methodology (PPS), and check the Major modification implementation (FIC). Collaborate to develop & maintain effective Quality KPI

  • (key Performance Indicators) to drive data-led decision-making.

Up skills

Aerospace Design:

General knowledge on Airbus Aircraft Structure Design and Development across the entire fleet.

QMS Expertise:

Build Specific knowledge in Quality Management System and Quality standards.

Digital Engineering:

Develop cutting-edge digital skills applied specifically to a Quality Engineering environment.

Professional Growth:

Improve your coordination & negotiation skills, and Project Management skills within a global corporate framework.

Scope of Projects

We cover a huge organization and functions involved in all Airbus Commercial Programs (A220, A320 Family, A330, A350, A350 Freighter, ULR, A380), Design and Stress airframe structure, R&T environment supporting innovative projects, Airline Customers Services topics, Production Engineering issues & non conformities and new Digital Design solutions.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

Advanced level in English.

General knowledge in Quality Management System.

Data analytics and advance Google Workspace skills (sheet, App Script, looker studio).

Basic programming skills (Java and Python).

Self-motivation, autonomous and communication skills.

Self-motivated, autonomous, and a proactive communicator.

Strong team spirit and a collaborative mindset.

Ability to work in complex international, and multicultural environments.
