At ElectraMet we're building a circular economy that reduces dependence on mining these critical materials through novel electrochemical technology that separates and recovers dissolved metals from process and wastewater streams. We are looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer to establish, maintain, and continuously improve the company's quality systems and processes. This position will be responsible for day-to-day quality activities across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and customer delivery. The Quality Engineer will develop and implement inspection procedures, quality standards, work instructions, and documentation; perform and coordinate incoming, in-process, and final inspections; investigate nonconformances; address customer quality concerns; and work closely with suppliers and internal teams to prevent recurring quality issues.

Customer / Supplier visits as required Core Responsibilities Manage day-to-day quality activities, including incoming, in-process, and final inspections. Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, test methods, checklists, and work instructions. Identify, document, and resolve nonconformances using structured root-cause and corrective-action methodologies. Lead or support 8D, CAPA, corrective action, and preventive action activities. Investigate customer quality concerns and coordinate timely responses, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. Develop and maintain supplier quality requirements and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues. Establish and maintain quality records, inspection documentation, certificates of conformance, and related quality documentation. Develop and track quality metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Support engineering and operations during new product introduction, process changes, and production launches. Participate in design and process reviews to identify potential quality risks before production. Develop and maintain calibration and measurement equipment programs. Conduct internal quality audits and support customer and third-party audits. Lead the development and implementation of an ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality engineering or a related quality role. Hands-on experience with manufacturing inspection and quality control. Experience developing quality procedures, inspection plans, work instructions, and documentation. Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective-action methodologies. Experience implementing or maintaining
ISO 9001 / IATF 16949
is strongly preferred. Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and 8D is a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
