Full-time | Onsite Position Overview The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product and process quality across manufacturing and engineering operations. This role plays a key part in identifying defects, leading corrective actions, analyzing quality trends, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in root cause analysis, quality systems, and data-driven decision-making, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and improve overall quality performance. Key Responsibilities Analyze quality data, metrics, and trends to identify improvement opportunities Support tiered accountability systems and structured escalation processes Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, including 5-Whys and countermeasure implementation Investigate and resolve product and process defects to ensure compliance and performance Collaborate with production teams, operators, and cross-functional stakeholders to reinforce quality standards Facilitate Non-Conformance Report (NCR) reviews and drive resolution activities Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to validate inspection accuracy and reliability Lead containment actions and corrective measures in response to quality issues Support Basis of Estimate (BOE) development and manage assigned quality work packages Develop, maintain, and improve inspection plans and control plans Conduct internal audits to ensure process and quality compliance Manage and respond to Corrective Action Requests (CARs) Review technical documentation to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements Support counterfeit part prevention and quality control processes Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities Apply GD&T principles to ensure design and manufacturing integrity Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and ROI Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field OR equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role Strong experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environments preferred Hands-on experience with RCCA, PFMEA, MSA, and GD&T Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Qualifications Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., aerospace, defense, automotive) Experience conducting process audits and supporting compliance initiatives Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and quality performance Additional Information High-impact role supporting both engineering and production operations Strong cross-functional collaboration across quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams Opportunity to influence quality strategy and process improvements at scale EOE (including Disability/Veterans) #HRUProfessional Apply for this job Copy link ✓ Thanks for sharing!
