Quality Engineer | Precision Manufacturing |
ISO / AS9100
Environment Are you a hands-on Quality Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for someone who takes ownership of quality systems, drives continuous improvement, and ensures products meet the highest standards from first article through production. What You'll Do Develop and maintain quality systems aligned with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with production, engineering, and suppliers to improve quality and reduce waste Oversee inspections, PPAPs, First Articles, and testing processes Conduct internal audits and support external audits Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and drive decisions Manage supplier quality issues and non-conformances Maintain and improve QMS documentation, SOPs, and reporting Utilize CMM (Zeiss/Calypso) for inspection and validation What You Bring 4+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Six Sigma tools Experience with CMMs (Zeiss preferred) and measurement systems Blueprint reading and GD&T expertise Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate at all levels Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred) Work Environment Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Shop floor exposure (noise, machinery, oils, etc.) Occasional overtime or Saturdays based on production needs Potential travel to customers or suppliers Why Join Us High-impact role with visibility across operations Strong culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement Opportunity to lead quality initiatives and make measurable improvements Team-oriented environment that values ownership and integrity Our Core Values Precision in everything we do Accountability across the team Problem-solving mindset Honest, transparent communication Humility and continuous learning If you would like to learn more about Manufacturing, Production, or Operations opportunities, contact David McKnight with gpac at 608-514-9815 .
