This role supports a high-reliability electronics manufacturing environment where quality, compliance, and process control are critical to product performance. The Quality Engineer Associate, Conformal Coating will provide hands-on technical support for conformal coating application, inspection, validation, and defect prevention. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with electronics manufacturing experience who wants to work closely with experienced quality leadership, production teams, inspectors, and engineering groups. This role offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong leadership support, exposure to regulated manufacturing standards, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement, yield performance, and long-term quality success. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain conformal coating quality control plans, inspection standards, and process documentation. Ensure coating processes comply with IPC, NASA, MIL, customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. Review and approve conformal coating parameters for spray, dip, brush, and selective coating applications. Validate curing profiles, coating thickness measurement methods, and inspection criteria for UV, thermal, and moisture cure processes. Support DFM, PFMEA, FMEA, NPI, FAI, FAIR, NCR, CAPA, and SCAR activities. Perform root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, and DMAIC to drive defect prevention and yield improvement.
Compensation and Benefits Pay Rate:
$38 to $45 per hour.
