Senior Quality EngineerBased in Billerica, MA, we are an industry leader manufacturing highly engineered electro-mechanical products for customers operating in regulated and technology-driven industries.
We're seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives within a complex manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers to improve product quality, resolve technical issues, and drive operational excellence across the organization.

Role and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary quality lead for product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement initiativesLead customer quality investigations, root cause analysis activities, corrective actions, and preventive actionsDefine inspection requirements, identify process failure modes, and drive reductions in scrap, rework, and quality-related costsConduct manufacturing process audits, quality system audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to quality standardsAnalyze and present quality metrics, trends, and performance data to management teamsSupport new product introduction, prototype builds, and product launches to ensure quality requirements are achievedDevelop supplier quality requirements, inspection plans, sampling strategies, and supplier performance improvement initiativesMentor cross-functional teams on problem-solving methodologies including 8D, 5-Why, DMAIC, SPC, and FMEAPartner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve operational performance and product reliabilityDrive implementation of continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, process capability, and customer satisfactionQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent quality engineering experience3+ years of Quality Engineering experience with a degree, or 8+ years of relevant quality experience without a degreeExperience supporting machining, welding, brazing, assembly manufacturing, or electro-mechanical productsExperience working within anISO 9001
quality management system; AS9100 experience is a plusStrong knowledge of GD&T, FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5-Why, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience using Minitab for statistical analysis, capability studies, Gage R&R, and process control applicationsStrong root cause analysis, problem-solving, communication, and project leadership skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWillingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationallyBenefitsCompetitive Salary Between $100-120k + Bonus PotentialStrong Benefits Package (Medical/Dental/Vision, Retirement Savings Options, etc.)Unlimited Vacation/Paid Time OffWork/Life BalanceBenefits
