Job Summary:
The Process Engineer develops, implements and revises systems, processes, and procedures that improve quality. Provides analysis and recommendations for quality and product improvements. Provide support for manufacturing, process engineering, change management, process improvements, and quality system programs.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for MRB process and area. Controls non-conforming material. Drives weekly MRB meeting and resolution of issues. Reviews quality problems and manages corrective action program, including internal, customer and supplier CARs. Responsible for determining and identifying opportunities to improve quality and reduce scrap. Facilitates and drive action plans that improve quality and reduce scrap. Responsible for documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are accurate and kept up to date and compliant to
ISO 9001
requirements. Works with UL and CSA agencies. Maintains test equipment and inventory of UL and CSA labels. Helps conduct internal audits as required. Project management experience and an understanding of problem solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis and statistical analytical tools Lean and six sigma knowledge and certification a plus Required Skills and Experience Bachelors' degree in Quality, Engineering or related area, or associate's degree and 3 years of related experience or equivalent.
