Senior Reliability Engineer

Reliability Engineer ensures that Rochester Electronics delivered parts are reliable in field use. This individual is a part of the Reliability Lab Test Department and will be responsible for generating reliability qualification stress plans detailing qualification stress requirements and issuing final test reports summarizing reliability stress results and disposition. Responsibilities Works with appropriate engineering groups to assess root cause and define required corrective actions using an 8D report format.

Facilitates Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for reliability incident investigationsProvides analytical support utilizing statistical tools for quantifying reliability opportunities and improvementsPerforms reliability modeling in support of projects and site activitiesWorks within the reliability engineering team developing design improvements, communicating them effectively to the engineering and quality teams and ensures timely implementation.

Contributes technically across the reliability engineering team to the development of product improvements, ensuring only high quality, Ensures reliability stress tests are performed in compliance with the applicable qualification plans and industry standard test methods.
