Job Description:
Provide hands-on engineering support for plant systems, equipment, and operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance. Troubleshoot equipment and system issues, conduct root cause analyses, and develop corrective actions for forced outages and performance deficiencies. Monitor plant performance metrics, including heat rate and reliability indicators, to identify optimization opportunities and improve operational efficiency. Develop, evaluate, and implement plant modifications, upgrades, and reliability improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and availability. Support planning and execution of scheduled and emergent outages, including scope development, contractor coordination, schedule oversight, and post-outage evaluations. Prepare technical specifications, scopes of work, bid packages, and engineering documentation to support maintenance activities and capital projects. Support reliability-centered maintenance initiatives through Management of Change (MOC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement programs. Assist with development and optimization of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies utilizing the site's CMMS. Manage capital project activities including project justification, budgeting, execution oversight, and cost tracking. Provide technical oversight and coordination of contractors, consultants, and vendors performing work at the facility. #ENG1
