Engineering Analyst (System of Systems TDP/Reliability) #TS999
Position Title:
Engineering Analyst (System of Systems Technical Data Package/Reliability)
  • Security Clearance Required:
    A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • This position does not provide a telework option.
Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Patuxent River, MD.CRL provides a signing bonus and potential relocation assistance for this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide engineering-support and risk-management services for the execution of an advanced development and research program in support of System of Systems (SoS) integration across PMA-268 and PMA-228. The engineering-support scope encompasses Technical Data Package (TDP) and reliability activities such as, but not limited to, the following:
  • Provide support for engineering execution by performing technical analysis of vendor Technical Data Package (TDP) drawings, schematics, and models, verifying conformance with applicable military standards (such as
MIL-STD-31000B
) and contract requirements.
  • Support and coordinate the development, configuration control, and marking of technical documentation such as, but not limited to, the SoS TDP and associated data bridged from PMA-268 and PMA-228 into the Logistics Product Database.
  • Analyze contractor TDP deliverables, as permitted by law and regulation, logging and tracking technical deficiencies to closure and supporting resolution throughout the design-review cycle.
  • Support program management, the Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML), and Level 1 IPT leads in program execution and in processes for future program activities, monitoring the vendor Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for TDP milestone status.
  • Provide risk management for TDP and product-support/reliability activities in accordance with the DoD Risk Management Guide for
Defense Acquisition Programs:
identify, document, and track TDP milestone, product-support, and reliability risks in the program risk database; and develop and report risk metrics for program leadership decision points and design reviews.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering from an accredited college or university.
Required Experience:
Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in DoD program office(s).
Desired Experience:
  • At least three (3) years of DoD acquisition logistics experience, with knowledge equivalent to the DAU Life Cycle Logistics Foundational Certification (formerly DAWIA Level II).
  • In-depth knowledge of
MIL-STD-31000B
(Technical Data Packages).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products, and database management.
  • CAD/PLM proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo , Siemens Teamcenter).
Allowable Experience/Education Substitutions:
Experience cannot be substituted for education.
Security Clearance Required:
A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance.
