Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
This position will provide Reliability Analyst support to Unmanned Mission Control Station (UMCS) AIRWorks Team in support of Technical Data Package Development and installation/fielding planning for U.S. Navy MQ-25 Unmanned Mission Controls stations aboard Aircraft Carriers (CVN) and at USN shore sites. The Reliability Analyst is responsible for providing expertise and technical leadership to support the analysis of system Reliability data; failure mode analysis, review of subsystem and system reliability design, and development of technical data packages in support of system testing and fielding.
Reliability Analyst position will support:
Support to the tailored
UMCS R&M
process direct to the AIRWorks UMCS Project Lead and Lead engineer Develop and evaluate Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Program Plans and requirements for aircraft/ground control stations Perform R&M analyses, predictions, allocations, and calculate R&M metrics Perform R&M criticality and risk assessments, FMEA/FMECA, and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) Attend and support Reliability Control Board (RCB) and Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings Review Engineering Change Proposals for R&M considerations Determine key R&M metrics, identify problem areas, and assist in developing design modifications and Engineering Change Proposals Support reliability development growth testing (reliability qualification tests) Support
IHMS/BIT
design/development process Collect R&M data from and populate FRACAS databases Generate various reports outlining findings and recommendations The candidate will apply knowledge of reliability in support of UMCS installation, verification planning, and technical data package development. Efforts include coordination of subsystem/system analysis ensuring quality of technical products and developing/delivering associated technical briefs and data packages.

Areas of responsibility include: Development and analysis of Reliability Block Diagrams Development and analysis of Fault Tree Analysis Failure Mode Analysis (FMECA) Reliability predictions Reliability design gap analysis Support of Technical Data Package development Review and analysis of Reliability-Centered Maintenance concepts
Education/Experience:
SENIOR:
A Senior level person within a labor category has over 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a MA/MS degree.
Allowable Education/ Experience Substitutions:
Ten (10) years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Master's degree. Associate's degree plus eight (8) years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree. Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a master's degree

Experience with
NAVAIR/NAVSEA
System Processes Familiarity with NAVAIR processes. Ability to communicate well in team environments. Good organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
