Akkodis is seeking an Engineer, Quality for a Contract with a client in Scarborough, ME. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing operations by resolving quality issues, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Rate Range:

$40/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Engineer, Quality Responsibilities include: Support manufacturing operations by resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions in accordance with established procedures. Provide quality oversight on the production floor to ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and documentation requirements. Review and maintain accurate Device History Records (DHRs) and support line clearances, inspections, and rework activities. Ensure adherence to FDA, cGMP, ISO, and other applicable quality and regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality system effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and communicate quality risks, defects, and compliance concerns while maintaining professional interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related technical field. 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a regulated medical device/pharmaceutical environment.
