Scope :
Site- Adrian Responsibilities :
Responsibility 1: Interfaces with customers (Customer Representative) and suppliers on quality problems and quality improvement activities using structured corrective and preventative action methods Complies and administers customer and supplier PPAP documentation Interfaces with supplier concerning all aspects of APQP (InPro) including PPAP preparation and submittal Uses WeChange (plant portion) as a reference Responsibility 2: Facilitate continuous improvement activities of suppliers to meet OP metrics per the SQ manual Communicates Corrective Action Reports to internal and external customers Monitor supplier performance rating and schedule follow up audits/review for assigned suppliers Maintain all SNCR records, including closed supplier 8Ds and cost recovery Participating in SNCR related read across with other NAO facilities Promotes Quality concepts within the plant, division, and community Supports Adrian objectives through participation in an assigned Focus Team Understanding of Customer Specific Requirements Understanding of IATF Requirements Responsibility 3: Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing Must be able to lift up to 33lbs on a regular basis Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Personal Background Associates degree required (Engineering, Science, Technical, or Business) or equivalent related experience Experience in APQP and PPAP 3 years SQA experience strongly preferred Job Technical skills Strong problem solving, decision making, and prioritization skills Structured problem solving with demonstrated experience in 8-D or similar methods Knowledge of automotive quality standards, including
TS-16949, IATF
