Job Description
Develop and execute validation plans for EV battery systems, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), modules, and related components to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal engineering standards; conduct mechanical and environmental testing, including durability, vibration, thermal, and performance evaluations; support development and maintenance of validation and test systems; integrate test equipment and data acquisition hardware with battery test systems and manufacturing validation stations; analyze test data and prepare validation reports documenting results, defects, and corrective actions; coordinate with design, manufacturing, test, and quality teams to investigate mechanical failures; troubleshoot validation equipment and test stations to improve throughput, repeatability, and data reliability; review drawings, test procedures, and technical requirements to confirm validation readiness; maintain test records, technical documentation, and validation reports; and assist in verification of battery and ESS products for automotive and energy storage applications from development through production.
