Description The Quality Engineer is responsible for interfacing with the customer and performing initial root cause analysis of issues within the warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Respond to customers about Quality issues. Maintain customer Quality score management and response. Create meeting materials for Customer and lead internal meetings. Conduct initial analysis of customer Quality suspect parts (INLINE / FIELD). Lead/support deep analysis with related teams (Plant, Engineering & HQ). Provide Quality case management (internal/external systems). Return material & cost handling, if it's related Quality. Initiate and manage Quality inspection activity if needed. Participate new program development, as a local quality engineer. Respond to customers regarding Q issue & Cowork with HQ / MMX and other plants. Maintain Green scorecards to all related OEM's. Create/Maintain professional relationship with Customer.

WORK SCHEDULE & TRAVEL A

typical work week is M-F, 40 hours/week. Travel within the US, Mexico, and Asia as needed Required Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

1+ year of Quality experience in automotive industry required. Experience in root cause analysis of quality issues (8D, 5Y, Ishikawa).

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree is required. Employment Type

• The expected hiring range for this position is $47,457.63
