The Opportunity As a Quality & Regulatory Intern, youll work closely with our operations, engineering, quality, and regulatory teams.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide support to production operations and address issues as they ariseDevelop an understanding of cross-functional and interdepartmental problem-solvingInvestigate and resolve product quality issues as neededCollaborate with maintenance and engineering teams while ensuring product quality standards are maintainedDevelop POKA training content

Unique Project:

Contribute to the development and implementation of the quality process for new fruit extrusion products

KLN Family Brands/Kennys Candy & Confections:

At least a Junior in college pursuing a degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or a related fieldThe ability to dedicate 10-12 weeks to the internship program for the summer of 2027A positive attitude and willingness to learnThe ability to work in a team atmosphere and be a great co-workerThe ability to work on-site at our Perham, MN facility for the summerCompensationThe starting hourly rate of pay is $17.94 and will be a percentage of industry standards based on typical full-time starting salaries, and will depend on your year in school and timeline to graduation.
