We are seeking a high-performing Quality Engineer - NQA-1 to support PAR Solutions in delivering high-quality products and systems that meet customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements . This role is responsible for executing quality engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, including project quality planning, compliance verification, nonconformance management, and ensuring all deliverables meet defined requirements. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with actual hands-on quality experience who can work cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure quality is built into project execution while balancing the expectations of our customers. Core Responsibilities Support project quality planning, including contract/spec review, and ensure all deliverables meet NQA-1, customer, and internal standards Participate in design reviews and develop inspection/test plans and quality documentation to ensure requirements are clearly defined and met Manage nonconformances and corrective actions (CARs/SCARs), including tracking, root cause analysis, and timely resolution Collaborate cross-functionally and with suppliers to resolve quality issues impacting project execution Conduct audits, support customer/regulatory reviews, maintain compliant quality records, and analyze data to drive continuous improvement Success Criteria You're not just a Quality Engineer; you're a problem-solver, collaborator, and innovator. You ensure quality is embedded throughout the project lifecycle, from early planning through execution and final deliverables, by applying practical quality engineering methods that keep projects aligned with requirements. You bring demonstrated experience supporting projects through activities such as contract and specification review, inspection planning, nonconformance management, and corrective action implementation. You work closely with project teams to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined, understood, and executed. Your deep understanding of government and industry quality codes, standards, and regulations positions you as a trusted advisor and compliance expert. Whether leading audits, supporting supplier quality programs, or conducting detailed compliance checks, you bring clarity and assurance to every project. You ensure all work meets NQA-1 and customer requirements. Collaboration is critical to your success. You partner with Project Managers, Engineers, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to identify risks, resolve quality issues, and maintain alignment with project objectives. You communicate effectively through clear documentation, reports, and direct engagement with stakeholders. An analytical mindset fuels your ability to develop innovative solutions. Qualifications A Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Quality Engineering or related concentration preferred.
