This role provides quality ownership across in-house manufacturing (additive and CNC machining), sub-assembly, and final assembly operations, driving alignment between engineering intent, manufacturing capability, and product performance. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, hands-on problem solving, and experience applying APQP, SPC, MSA, and CAPA in high-performance manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain process controls, inspection criteria, and quality standards for machining, additive manufacturing, and assembly. Develop and perform reaction plans for critical features utilizing SPC when applicable. Support builds through torque verification, leak testing, functional checks, and dimensional validation. Lead APQP deliverables (PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flows) and ensure process readiness. Review and approve FAI/FAIR and CTQ (Critical to Quality) documentation. Drive resolution of nonconformances and process issues using structured root cause analysis. (8D, DMAIC, 5-Why) Own and manage

processes, ensuring effective closure and prevention of recurrence. Work with metrology in validation activities including CMM, 3D scanning, and GD&T verification. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, yield improvement, and process capability. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field. Experience in process or manufacturing quality. Strong knowledge of GD&T, APQP/PPAP, SPC, and MSA. Experience supporting machining and/or additive manufacturing processes. Proven experience in root cause analysis and CAPA systems. Ability to work hands-on in manufacturing and assembly environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in high-performance automotive, motorsport, or aerospace. Proficiency with statistical tools. (Minitab, JMP) Familiarity with quality systems. (High QA, Unipoint or equivalent) Lean Six Sigma certification. Working Environment Hands-on role within manufacturing and assembly areas, including additive and machining operations. Exposure to high-performance mechanical systems and test environments. Occasional travel to suppliers and partner facilities.
