Job Description

Job Title:
Reliability Engineer Job Description This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and maintainability of manufacturing equipment and systems within a production facility. The position focuses on analyzing failures, implementing proactive maintenance strategies, improving system reliability, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. The individual works closely with production, process, and maintenance teams to resolve ongoing issues and contributes to the design of new systems with reliability and maintainability in mind. Responsibilities Analyze equipment failures and implement proactive maintenance strategies to enhance system reliability. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with production, process, and maintenance teams to resolve ongoing issues. Contribute to the design of new systems with a focus on reliability and maintainability. Oversee training needs and maintain payroll and timekeeping systems. Manage spare parts challenges with vendors and OEMs. Communicate effectively across all organizational levels. Engage in hands-on technical involvement and perform physical tasks such as working at heights, lifting heavy equipment, and operating in an industrial environment. Essential Skills Reliability engineering Preventive maintenance Continuous improvement Root cause analysis Process improvement Direct experience with production equipment (PLC, CNC, robotics, electrical systems) Troubleshooting in a live manufacturing environment Building or improving PM programs Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning Power BI and data analysis Vibration analysis Failure analysis Mechanical skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work/military experience Minimum 2 years of related technical, mechanical, or electrical experience Preferred 4+ years of maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret technical documentation Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Greensboro, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr. 401K, PTO, Upward Mobility Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Greensboro,NC.
