Job Description

Job Title:
Lead Quality Engineer Location:
Middlesex, North Carolina (On-Site)
Job Summary:
We are partnering with this company to present an exciting opportunity for a Lead Quality Engineer supporting product and process quality across assigned value streams, products, customers, and suppliers. This position is ideal for a candidate who can drive quality system compliance, lead structured problem-solving, and strengthen operational excellence through prevention, containment, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Deploy quality management system requirements, business system tools, and advanced quality methodologies to improve performance and reduce non-conformance. Lead investigations into customer complaints, escapes, and returns, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions. Support quality planning activities by establishing and maintaining control plans, PFMEAs, inspection methods, validation activities, and launch readiness requirements. Partner with cross-functional teams and supplier quality groups to support audits, assessments, corrective action activities, customer support, and supplier performance improvement.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, supplier quality, or related technical roles. Experience working within a regulated quality management system environment. Ability to support compliance with applicable customer, regulatory, and industry standards, including
AS9100, ISO
9001, customer-specific requirements, and internal procedures.
