Job Purpose and Impact The Senior Reliability Engineer will be a key leader on the maintenance and reliability management team for the discipline of reliability engineering. In this role, you will work with the reliability team to drive improvement of plant reliability and champion the defect elimination process. You will apply knowledge and experience to ensure continuous improvement to optimize the company's physical assets and maintenance and reliability processes and strategies and be directly involved in the continued implementation and leadership of a progressive and integrated reliability centered maintenance and equipment reliability improvement process. Key Accountabilities Lead, build and develop the reliability engineering team skills and communicate advanced reliability concepts using a variety of techniques to provide guidance and training to more junior reliability engineers. Support team leadership through prioritization of reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities and lead the bad actor identification, quantification, and elimination process. Participate in process teams, lead asset health initiatives, and champion asset health improvement and production process stability by driving the consistent application of reliability centered maintenance and root cause analysis. Lead and develop programs for sustainability to enhance the maintenance and reliability capabilities that ensure the building and development of competency mechanical reliability practices and knowledge of those practices is shared throughout the team. Participate in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans of large projects including setting reliability standards, equipment evaluation criteria, technical supplier evaluation and inspection criteria as part of the reliability excellence deliverables. Design and develop new and unique engineering methods and procedures, special equipment, innovative test procedures and special analysis of failure techniques to drive improvement of reliability and maintenance activities. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of four years of related work experience Solid knowledge in the application of reliability tools Knowledge in maintenance process management Experience in production, maintenance, or project management Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Preferred Qualifications Certified maintenance reliability professional or similar certification Training in predictive maintenance technologies Training and knowledge of management of the proactive maintenance model Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
