Full Job Description Description:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will be located at the Hudson, NH corporate facility. This position will be responsible for all aspects of Quality Engineering within the company including the following: Maintain Quality Manual/Procedures for AS9100 and ISO9001 Perform/Maintain internal audits. Develop test programs and create working procedures for factory Maintain Calibration of Equipment/Tooling Interface with customers/suppliers and report metrics Coordinate and interface with customers for on-site quality audits Establish and monitor vendor performance with Materials function Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions/Perform Root cause analysis Report monthly/quarterly factory-field performance Analyze Key Characteristic measurement data to calculate Manufacturing Process Capability ("Cpk") and identify areas for collective and continual manufacturing process improvement toward a goal of Cpk 1.33 Perform Risk Management Analysis Perform RMA Evaluations, including: RC/CA, determining whether it is a Customer Issue, and what materials will be required for repair Safety Point of Contact Track Days Without Accidents and Near Misses Process Accident Reports and interface with HR and Corporate Safety Create Incoming Inspection Plans Lead and track bi-weekly GEMBA walks
Requirements:
Highly organized and self-motivated Highly effective verbal and written communication skills Tenacious at achieving deadlines for implementation and changes to the company's quality system. Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 quality systems preferred Preferred candidate will have a background in Aerospace/ Defense related companies. Creative problem solver, completing tasks on time with minimal resources Prior demonstrated hands-on management experience required Desired Skill Requirements 3 years minimum experience in quality engineering/ management Bachelor's Degree minimum Working knowledge of ISO9001:2008 and AS9100:2009-01 systems Experience identifying root causes and proposing/implementing corrective actions Working knowledge of formal Quality Management Systems Experience with technology-based product manufacturing PC literate with MS Office Product US Person required for DoD work Onsite position
