Up to $140,000 + Bonus We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Reliability Engineer to lead reliability engineering efforts for complex, high-value systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product performance, durability, and successful transition from design to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead reliability engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle Conduct technical risk assessments, failure mode analysis, and FIT rate modeling Review and approve qualification test plans, reports, and final design releases Partner with R D, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure design integrity and performance Oversee supplier reliability, non-conformance investigations, and corrective actions Support new product development, RFQs, and system-level reliability strategies Analyze downtime, failure rates, and long-term system performance metrics
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 10+ years of experience in reliability, mechanical engineering, or high-reliability industries (aerospace, defense, medical devices, etc.) Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles and physics of failure Experience with risk analysis, quality systems, and failure analysis tools Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts clearly
