We are seeking to hire a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to support a large-scale mission-critical / data center project in Reno, Nevada. You will own the mechanical scope of the commissioning program, from script development through integrated systems testing, verifying that cooling and mechanical infrastructure performs to design intent before the client accepts the facility. Key Responsibilities Commission chilled water plants, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAH/CRAC units, and air handling systems. Write and execute pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests, and support integrated systems testing. Verify BMS controls, sequences of operation, setpoints, and alarms. Review submittals, drawings, and TAB reports; verify flushing and pressure testing before functional testing. Conduct walkdowns, own the mechanical issues log, and drive punch items to closure. Report test results and progress to the client and Commissioning Manager. Stop work authority for any unsafe practice or environmental risk. Requirements 4+ years of mechanical commissioning experience; data center, semiconductor, or pharma preferred. Working knowledge of commissioning Levels 0 through 5. Hands-on experience with chilled water systems, chillers, pumps, VFDs, and air distribution. Able to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and control sequences. Strong communication and reporting skills; proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred. Authority You have the authority to stop work if unsafe practices or environmental risks are present. Responsible for meeting all Quality, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times. ATL1
