Job Description

Job Description A client in the aerospace and defense industry is looking to hire a Quality Engineer to their team in Rochester, NY. They will be responsible for participating in supplier calls and providing preventative actions such as customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer control, and material review board meetings. They will help create material review boards (MRB) and design reviews for the team. They will also be responsible for supporting high level quality engagements and communicate with program managers and the design and manufacturing team. They will work in a cubical and spend some time on the production floor. They will work a 9/80 work schedule.   • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Strong experience with Root Cause Analysis/Investigation in a manufacturing environment.
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDM)
  • Must know AS9102 and
QA-01.1.1
First article Inspection review and approval.
  • Experience in development of manufacturing work instructions
  • Knowledge and/or experience with
ISO9001/AS9100
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Agile Product Lifecycle
  • Management (PLM) or similar PLM tool
