Quality Engineer

Job Summary This candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes. Throughout the implementation and maintenance process, use data analysis to better understand quality reporting measures and improve processes. Responsibilities Develop product test plans including AQL, Gage R&R, optical inspection equipment programming, and customer-specific requirements. Prepare First Article Approval packages in accordance with customer and industry requirements. Develop Process Capability Studies Coordinate internal and 3rd party calibration of equipment and measuring devices. Evaluating and dispositioning of nonconforming material Support problem-solving activities and implement solutions to improve product quality and process reliability. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Quality, Business, or a related field is preferred. 4+ years of Quality Engineering experience Previous experience with AS9100 and

ISO:

9001 Quality Management Systems. Ability to use handheld gaging such as micrometers and calipers Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with APQP is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Excel functions, including pivot tables, statistical formulas, logical and lookup & reference formulas. Experience with Minitab is a plus. An analytical and quantitative approach to problem-solving Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
