Quality Engineer

Job Description The Quality Engineer will support manufacturing quality initiatives across various locations by driving corrective actions, improving processes, and partnering closely with operations to ensure products meet internal and customer requirements. This role focuses on both prevention, such as process controls, standardization, and audits, as well as response, including root cause analysis, containment, and CAPA. The position requires maintaining strong cross-functional communication with engineering and operations teams. Responsibilities Include Drive corrective actions and improve processes to support manufacturing quality initiatives. Partner closely with operations to ensure products meet both internal and customer requirements. Focus on prevention through process controls, standardization, and audits. Address response mechanisms through root cause analysis, containment, and CAPA. Maintain strong cross-functional communication with engineering and operations teams. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Quality) or a related technical discipline or equivalent quality engineering experience. 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality-focused manufacturing role. Working knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions, and structured problem-solving methodologies. Experience interpreting engineering drawings/specifications and applying inspection/measurement requirements. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments and/or sites. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bowling Green, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
