Job Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the candidate will be assisting and supporting the Quality Engineering role of an assigned project.
Responsibilities may include:
Review & interpret purchased and manufactured product drawings. Learn defect evaluation techniques. Gain understanding of inspection / quality test equipment capabilities. Review opportunities for improvement and help identify a solution using data. Work closely with production employees & supporting roles to gather data. Work with external vendors / suppliers to support problem solving / solutions. Will be given assignments and projects to illustrate key learnings and knowledge of Quality Engineering Principles.
Job Qualifications:
Candidate must be enrolled and pursuing an Engineering degree with an interest in Quality Proficiency in using excel and pivot tables. Good analytical and communication skills required. Must have own reliable means of transportation.
