Location:

 Fairfield, OH trak group is partnering with a growing manufacturer to fill a Product Quality Engineer role on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit, family-feel team working on cutting-edge technology under strong leadership. Responsibilities Support quality planning and compliance by integrating AS9100 and customer-specific requirements into quality plans, inspections, and process controls Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections including dimensional verification using precision measurement equipment Identify, document, and support disposition of nonconforming products and processes Support root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement activities Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities to ensure timely disposition and closure of nonconformance reports Review material certifications, inspection records, and quality documentation for compliance with purchase order and drawing requirements Support supplier quality activities including evaluations, corrective action requests, and performance tracking Assist with calibration program oversight and measurement equipment verification Conduct drawing and specification reviews including GD&T requirements Track, analyze, and report quality performance KPIs Serve as a liaison between the production floor and internal business functions Support customer quality issues and Return Material Authorization activities as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems required Experience with CAD systems required;Autodesk Inventor preferred Exposure to weldment inspections and GD&T interpretation Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation Background in aerospace, defense, or capital equipment strongly preferred Comfortable on the production floor;ability to walk/stand for the majority of the shift Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;strong attention to detail and communication skills Ready to take the next step?
