Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer will investigate, analyze and resolve production quality problems by conducting product audits, analyzing defect trends and leading cross-functional continuous improvement activities in a timely manner. The position will develop, implement and maintain quality programs for the plant that ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction. Investigate internal quality issues on production quality, processes and equipment. Act as a communication liaison between internal and external groups regarding quality issues. Establish, maintain, and track quality standards to ensure consistency, while maintaining quality production. Participate in process audits to address any specific issues such as production mold modification. Address customer and internal product concerns. Analyze monthly performance reports and process data to identify areas of improvement. Ensure that packaging meets quality standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of quality tools. Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9000 and AIAG standards
