Job Description
Not open to Recruiters/Agency Cosmo Corporation is a global leader in the design and manufacture of precision engineered plastic components for the electrical and electronics industries. We produce over 500 million components each year, and our products can be found in nearly every type of consumer and industrial electronic device. We are a growth-oriented company with an 81-year history of innovation and quality. We have an immediate opening in our Cleveland, OH corporate headquarters for a qualified Customer Quality Representative.
Essential Functions :
Serve as the primary contact for customer quality questions, cautions, and complaints. Lead investigations and perform root cause analysis with Engineering and Plant Quality/Production teams. Prepare and manage 8D Corrective Action Reports. Drive, verify, and document corrective and preventive actions. Participate in on-site customer visits. Participate in product development teams to review engineering changes, manufacturing methods, planning, and process specifications as it relates to product quality. Support cross-functional problem solving and process improvement. Prepare and maintain customer and internal quality documentation. Provide support and assistance to international manufacturing plant QA departments. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on individual responsibilities.Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 4 years of experience in a customer-facing quality support role. Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methods (8D, CAPA, etc.) Working knowledge ofISO 9001
requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple issues simultaneously. Comfortable working on the production floor as needed. Plastics molding experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills to identify potential issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position requires the ability to perform close visual work, including inspection of parts, documents, and computer screens, and the ability to distinguish colors, markings, and visual defects.
