$55.00 per hour

Month Contract Summary:
Join an advanced engineering team dedicated to developing, testing, and certifying cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies. This role leads the verification and validation (V&V) of highly integrated systems, ranging from mission payloads to orbital space exploration components. Ideal candidates bring a strong foundational knowledge of engineering principles and a proven track record of executing formal manual or automated test procedures. Description•
Test Engineer III:
Develop complex test plans, procedures, and reports to demonstrate strict compliance with system and customer requirements. Plan, conduct, and document thorough Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for both system and component-level new products. Partner with multi-disciplinary design and development teams to manage requirements, system design, and systems integration. Interpret technical schematics, utilize service manuals, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques to diagnose complex system issues. Identify, generate, and process product non-conformances in close alignment with Product and Quality Assurance principles. Act in a safety-sensitive capacity, inspecting structures, equipment, and laboratory vehicles to ensure security and operational safety. Qualifications•
Test Engineer III:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline. Typically 5 or more years of relevant engineering and testing experience, ideally within the Aerospace and Defense industry. Proven experience planning, executing, and documenting formal V&V activities alongside requirements management and system integration. Proficiency with various test equipment, testing standards, and methodologies (including manual and automated testing); experience with regulatory certifications (FAA, NASA, DoD) is a plus. Full professional proficiency in English with strong technical reading, writing, and speaking skills. Ability to meet physical demands, including working in an indoor lab setting, frequent walking/standing, repetitive hand/arm motions, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
