The internship opportunity will be a 12-week program running from late May to mid-August 2027. What You Will Do Take on projects that are representative of the work our full-time engineers do, gaining hands-on experience supporting plant reliability, maintenance, and operational excellence. Analyze equipment and operational data to identify improvement opportunities, support decision-making, and develop reliability and maintenance strategies. Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs by evaluating equipment performance, inspection requirements, testing intervals, and spare parts strategies. Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting activities to solve equipment-related challenges and improve plant reliability. Leverage engineering tools, data analytics, AI, and technology solutions to improve efficiency and enhance access to technical documentation and equipment information. Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), piping isometrics, plot plans, and equipment specifications. Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams throughout the facility to develop solutions that improve equipment performance and plant uptime Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Enrolled in a degree or alternative program. (e.g., 4 year college program, 2 year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.) Currently enrolled in a degree program of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. Eligible for full-time employment before or by May 2029. Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
